Achieving Excellence Through Learning: Every Child, Every Hour, Every Day

Volunteer

Volunteering with the Poplar Bluff School District

Thank you for your interest in supporting our students! Volunteers play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission: Achieving excellence through learning — every child, every hour, every day. There are several ways community members can get involved with our schools.

Volunteer Opportunities

Lunch Buddy

Lunch Buddies spend time with students during lunch, offering mentorship and positive connections.

Classroom Volunteer

Classroom volunteers work directly with students in an instructional capacity, making a regular impact in the classroom.

Volunteer Coach

Volunteer coaches work alongside students in a coaching capacity, helping them grow on and off the field.

Athletic Event Staff

Community members can serve in a paid capacity at athletic events in roles such as gate staff, announcer, scorekeeper, or timekeeper.

How to Apply

Pick up an application

Get an application packet at your school's office, the Athletic Director's office, or contact an administrative assistant to have one emailed to you.

Return your completed packet

Once completed, return your application and signed confidentiality agreement to the same office where you picked it up.

Wait for approval

Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted once you have been approved to begin volunteering.

Every volunteer who walks through our doors helps us live out our mission — achieving excellence through learning: every child, every hour, every day. Thank you for being part of that!
