Students who live 3.5 miles or more from their school are entitled to free transportation to and from school under Missouri state law. The district may also provide transportation for students who live closer to school in some circumstances. If you're unsure whether your child qualifies, call our office at 573-785-5801.

Yes. Transportation for students with disabilities is provided when the IEP team determines it is necessary as a related service due to the student's disability. If you have questions about transportation as part of your child's IEP, please contact your child's school or the Transportation Department directly.

Yes. Transportation for students classified as homeless is provided in accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Children's Assistance Act. Please contact the district office for more information and to discuss your child's specific situation.

Note that results may show multiple schools served at your address, so be sure to check the correct school stop for your child. Full route lists by school are also available on this page.

If your child's bus is significantly delayed or does not arrive, please contact our office at 573-785-5801. We recommend having your child at the stop a few minutes before the scheduled time, as buses run on tight schedules and cannot always wait.

District buses are considered an extension of the school environment, and the same standards of behavior apply. Students are expected to follow all rules and the directions of the driver at all times. A full copy of the student conduct policy for transportation is available on this page.

Yes. Any student whose conduct on district transportation is improper or jeopardizes the safety of other students may be suspended from transportation services and may face additional disciplinary action in accordance with district policy. Students with disabilities will be disciplined according to applicable law.

Access to district transportation is limited to authorized riders and staff only. Any unauthorized individuals on district vehicles should be reported to school administrators or law enforcement.

District vehicles are available for district-sponsored activities, including extracurricular activities and school organizations. They are not available for private or non-district use. Questions about activity transportation should be directed to your school's main office.
